The WILD HORSE AND BURRO ASSOCIATION is a 501c3 organization that has been established to support and encourage the adoption of wild horses and burros in North America. Our goal is to help increase adoptions by highlighting gentled and trained horses to the American public and potential adopters, as well as to work with the various agencies that oversee our nation's wild horses and burros through a variety of mediums including adoption events, shows, trail events, parades, and other equine events.
The WHBA in addition will recognize and maintain a national registry for all range-bred wild horses and burros as well as providing a system for points and year-end awards for horses and riders.
We encourage all those interested in these Living Legends, regardless of whether you adopt or not, to be involved with our organization! Please let us know if there are any related events you all would like to see added to the calendar!
